Roaring Camp is in Felton, California near Santa Cruz. (Take the Mount Hermon exit off Highway 17 to Graham Hill Rd., then left to park entrance.) Many musicians will arrive on Saturday Aug. 11, so they can play on the street in Santa Cruz near the statue of Tom Scribner. Playing starts at 1:00 p.m. There will also be a jam session and potluck dinner in the parking lot at Roaring Camp until 10:00 p.m. Those with self-contained RV's may stay over night. One of the highlights of the festival has been the saw playing contest. There will be jamming, a saw playing workshop, open mike, and there will be a "Chorus of Saws", all saw players on stage at once playing together, sometime in the afternoon.
